DECIBLES
With a sound influenced by all the greatest music ofthe last half century, the DECIBELS play their trade at being real tunesmiths.
They have their roots in 70´s punk-rock, their hearts in mid-60´spop and their heads in the present.
The DECIBELS formed in 1992 out of the ashes of another great californian power-pop band, the E-TYPES.
From that time until the present, Northern Californians have been bowled over with the DECIBELS live-shows which are very reminniscent of the JAM or ´65-ear WHO in its level of fire and honesty.
This is the balance that makes the DECIBELS essential! They write great pop songs but they deliver them with a conviction and intensity that is not often found in the power-pop world today.
The bands debut album "Create Action" sold very well in the US and Europe too and after a number of line-up changes, life crisises and ultimately a year of inactivity, the "Create Action" line-up returns to action in 2001 with the release of the second album "The BIG sound of the Decibels".
Another masterpiece of today´s mod-pop kings.

welche/r die Bestellung für dich tätigt und die Schallplatten für dich dort direkt entgegen nimmt.
